About Us

About Us

Kitchen Comfort is nestled between the historic Crocus Hill and Mac Groveland neighborhoods in St. Paul, Minnesota. Located west of Interstate 35E just a few blocks south of Grand Avenue, Kitchen Comfort has been a neighborhood destination for over a decade.

We have the capacity to provide our clients with everything from a small bathroom vanity to a large gourmet kitchen. We believe that no project is too small or too large. From the moment you walk through our door to the completion of your project, our design staff will strive to make your design process easy and fun. Because every home is unique, we at Kitchen Comfort use a collaborative design process to personalize your design needs.

No Frame

Design ProcessPlanning your new space is a fun and exciting process. There are many details that will need to be considered and if not handled correctly can be overwhelming. The designers at Kitchen Comfort can help with as little or as much as possible, depending on the needs and wishes of our clients. Below is an example of a project from start to finish. On average a project will take anywhere from 6-12 weeks from initial design to completion. In Home Consultation; We will measure and photograph existing space and also talk through design goals.Second Meeting; In this phase we will present the preliminary design and material selections.Letter of Agreement; Contract stating project scope and fees. Design Development; We meet with you several times at our studio and in your home to finalize the design, further identifying your personal style and everyday needs. Construction Documentation; Plans will be drawn up specifying the layout of the space. After this is done we can start getting pricing bids for materials and installation by outside contractors.Final Meeting; You will approve the final design by signing off on the plans. We will then schedule a start date and begin construction.Construction; Working together with your contractor to monitor the progress of your project ensures that your design is carried out to our exact specifications. Final Walk Through; After completion of your project we will visit the space to determine if any details were missed.
